There are at least 15 stalls at the Chinatown Complex Temp Market & Food Centre selling steamed fish head (I’m not kidding!), each with its unique cooking style and sauce. This one stands out most because of the queue outside its stall and not to mention the 3 accolades from Shin Min Daily News, The Straits Times and Lianhe WanBao/Zao Bao.
The steamed fish head is S$13 each and the fishhead is very fresh. For a non-fish eating person like me, the sauce was plentiful enough to mask the fishy taste and made it taste nice. Be prepared for a long wait (more than 30 minutes) if you arrive during their peak period.
